It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Randle Lions had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Fort Bend Marshall by a score of 35-24. Winning may never get old, but Randle sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Randle found their leader in underclassman Landen Callis-Williams, who rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.
Randle's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Fort Bend Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
Randle will square off against Belton at 7:30 p.m. on November 18th. Belton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Randle is ranked 97th). Fort Bend Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
