There's no place like home for the Randleman Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They snuck past Northwest Guilford with a 64-60 victory on Friday. The win was just what Randleman needed coming off of a 58-36 defeat in their prior contest.
Randleman's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chase Farlow led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Farlow pulled down eight or more rebounds. Greg Price was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three blocks.
Randleman pushed their record up to 3-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for Northwest Guilford, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randleman will take on Oak Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Grove is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Northwest Guilford, they will be playing at home against Western Guilford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Guilford will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 560th, while Northwest Guilford is ranked 194th).
