Softball Recap: River View Wins Going Away Against Warden

River View made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Warden, but they still couldn't quite topple them. River View put the hurt on Warden with a sharp 17-7 victory on Friday. Fans of the Panthers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

The team relied heavily on Danika Koch, who scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Lauren Overstreet, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

River View kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits every time they've taken the field this season.

River View's record is now 7-0. As for Warden, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

River View will have a chance to go back-to-back against Warden: the pair will be back at it again later today.
