Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  last Tuesday (55), the Huskies still had to take the loss.
Marsing's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Juan Ponce, who  posted 27  points and seven  steals, and  Teagan Kinney, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine points and 15  boards. The dominant performance gave  Ponce a new career-high in  steals.  Dresden Wood was another key player,  putting up nine points.

As for Melba, they will venture away from home to  square off against The Ambrose School  at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Ambrose School knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Melba likes a good challenge.
