Arcanum and Fort Recovery are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Arcanum Trojans will face off against the Fort Recovery Indians on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Arcanum is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Houston: they outscored them in every quarter. Arcanum walked away with a 48-35 win over Houston on Tuesday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Arcanum's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caroline Long, who went 7-for-12 on her way to 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Lexy Gibbons, who posted 17 points.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Fort Recovery walked away with it. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 40-31 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Arcanum pushed their record up to 15-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points over those games. As for Fort Recovery, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Arcanum won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, slipping by Fort Recovery 34-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Arcanum since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
