The Denver South Ravens will square off against the Alameda Pirates at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Denver South took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Battle Mountain with a sharp 14-2 win.

Henry Schoder looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, Andon Forster was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cody Welch, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.
Denver South always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Battle Mountain only posted an OBP of .409.
Meanwhile, Alameda came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Cowboys as they made off with a 22-2 victory.
Hudson Judy made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave him a new career-low. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
In other batting news, Alameda got a massive performance out of Cesar H, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Alan Chairez was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Everything went Denver South's way against Alameda in their previous matchup back in May of 2021, as Denver South made off with a 9-0 win. Will Denver South repeat their success, or does Alameda have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
