Wando is a perfect 10-0 against Goose Creek since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Gators at 7:00 p.m. Wando will be strutting in after a win while Goose Creek will be coming in after a defeat.
Wando will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Saturday, then bounced right back against Lucy Beckham on Monday. The Warriors came out on top against the Bengals by a score of 10-5. Considering the Warriors' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Paxton Hunt made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Collins Conley, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Lily Gold, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with five stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Goose Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Stratford, falling 17-1.
Wando has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Goose Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.
Everything went Wando's way against Goose Creek in their previous meeting on April 2nd, as Wando made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
