Make it four blowout wins for the Cornerstone Christian Patriots this season. They blew past John Marshall 76-43 on the road on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cornerstone Christian also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2022.
Quinn Kwasniak was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 32 points and ten assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Cornerstone Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Pugh, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds.
Cornerstone Christian now has a winning record of 7-6. As for John Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cornerstone Christian will take on the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for John Marshall, they and the Rebels will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
