The Horizon Hawks will face off against the Longmont Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Horizon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 13 games.
Horizon is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Frederick: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Horizon blew Frederick out of the water with an 82-53 final score. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 82nd), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Longmont's win came from a few key players Horizon will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Joey Foot, who posted 12 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Horizon has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 34.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Longmont struggles in that department as they've been averaging 25.4 boards.
