The McClave Cardinals can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cheraw 61-31 at home. Winning may never get old, but McClave sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McClave to victory, but perhaps none more so than McKayla Kiniston, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten steals. Kiniston is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlynn Steinbrunn, who scored nine points along with seven steals and five assists.
McClave's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Cheraw, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
McClave will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Eads is on a three-game streak of home wins, the Cardinals a 12-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Cheraw will take on the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
