J.H. Rose is 1-6 against Havelock since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The J.H. Rose Rampants are on the road again and play against the Havelock Rams at 7:00 p.m. on November 16th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
With a playoff game on the line, J.H. Rose rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against North Brunswick by a score of 14-7.
Malachi Keyes and Jameer Roach were among the main playmakers for J.H. Rose as the former picked up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown and the latter rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Havelock put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 27-15 win over Cape Fear.
Lebron Sharpe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 114 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for six yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Sharpe is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played. Khimani Nolan got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
J.H. Rose's win bumped their record up to 6-6. As for Havelock, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0.
J.H. Rose took a serious blow against Havelock in their previous meeting back in October, falling 35-7. Can J.H. Rose avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
