The Kickapoo Chiefs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Parkview 88-20 on the road. The result was nothing new for Kickapoo, who have now won four games by 23 points or more so far this season.
When it comes to explaining why Parkview lost, one person who can't be blamed is Austin Hall. Despite the final result, she scored nine points.
Kickapoo pushed their record up to 9-1 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.1 points per game. As for Parkview, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Kickapoo will be playing in front of their home fans against Waynesville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Waynesville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 141st, while Kickapoo is ranked fourth). As for Parkview, they will head out on the road to face off against Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Lebanon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 last Thursday.
