Avier Elvira Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Palmer Ridge got the W thanks in part to Avier Elvira playing the best football he has all season. Elvira rushed for 290 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 54 yards.
The victory was the third in a row for Palmer Ridge, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Elvira will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Rampart on Thursday.
