The Arapahoe Warriors won the last time they faced the Grandview Wolves, and things went their way on Friday too. Arapahoe walked away with a 50-41 win over Grandview.
Arapahoe got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cass Henry out in front who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Henry also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rifky Sedhom, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
When it comes to explaining why Grandview lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cole Holtman. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points. Noah Sevy was another key contributor, scoring five points along with two blocks.
Arapahoe now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Grandview, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
Arapahoe will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Smoky Hill at 7:00 p.m. Smoky Hill knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 15 games -- so hopefully Arapahoe likes a good challenge. As for Grandview, they will head out on the road to take on Columbine at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Columbine is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
