St. Joseph Academy snuck past Saint Mary's Hall with a 76-70 win. That's another feather in the cap for St. Joseph Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
St. Joseph Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lucas Cristiano out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Cristiano hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Oscar Balli, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
St. Joseph Academy's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-14. As for Saint Mary's Hall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-16 record this season.
St. Joseph Academy will be playing at home against St. Augustine at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully St. Joseph Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday. Saint Mary's Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
