The biggest upset of the week belonged to St. Joseph Academy, who took down 37th ranked San Pasqual Academy, 40-24. Johnny De La Torre threw for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.
Fans got a thrill when De La Torre and Evan Hernandez connected against the Dragons. The connection was good for 66 yards, the longest such play in Sunset (8 Man) this season.
The Crusaders' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Nareg Shakarian contributed 151 yards. Tim Clow helped St. Joseph Academy's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 25 yards.
