Trinity is 9-0 against Weatherford since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Trinity Trojans will look to defend their home court against the Weatherford Kangaroos at 6:30 p.m. Trinity will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Last Friday, Trinity came up short against Crowley and fell 52-39. While losing is never fun, Trinity can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while Crowley is ranked 76th).
Meanwhile, Weatherford's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 67-31 loss at the hands of Boswell. Weatherford was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-14.
Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Weatherford, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-13 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Trinity against Weatherford in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 64-23 win. Does Trinity have another victory up their sleeve, or will Weatherford turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
