Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Checotah). Everything went their way against the Crowder Demons on Thursday as they made off with a 16-5 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by nine runs or more this season.

Checotah's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Crowder, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

Checotah has already played their next matchup (against Morris), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Crowder will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' game: after the Wildcats face off against the Eagles, they'll take on Crowder again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
