Volleyball Recap: Arlington's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Arlington won the last time they faced La Sierra, and Omari Ramirez did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lions put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday thanks in part to Ramirez, who had 32 digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played.

While Arlington might've won, it sure wasn't easy: La Sierra scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 25-19.

Arlington moved to 4-7 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak. As for La Sierra, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Arlington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Valley View on the 27th. As for La Sierra, they will face off against Corona at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
