If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Collinsville. On Friday they take on East Central at 7:00 PM. Collinsville have bulldozed their previous four opponents, so East Central might have their hands full.
Collinsville put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Tahlequah as the team secured a 43-8 win. The victory was familiar territory for Collinsville, who now have six in a row.
Meanwhile, East Central have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were able to grind out a solid victory over Pryor, winning 41-28. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from East Central's flat performance the contest before.
Their wins bumped East Central to 3-3 and Collinsville to 6-0. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Collinsville and East Central will really light up the scoreboard.
