After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Abbott, Blum was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past Bluff Dale 16-6. Blum's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Blum's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Bluff Dale, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Blum will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bruceville-Eddy at 5:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Bluff Dale, they will take on Jonesboro at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
