Columbus got themselves on the board against Miami on Thursday, but Miami never followed suit. Columbus steamrollered Miami 43-0. Miami can consider this payback for the 22-28 loss they dealt Columbus the last time the teams encountered one another. The game brought Columbus to 5-1 and dropped Miami to a mirror-image 1-5.
Columbus will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Lake Gibson. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Columbus and Lake Gibson will really light up the scoreboard. Miami will stay at home against Killian at 7:30 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
