Springfield had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They steamrollered Glen Mills 44-6. That result is just more of the same for Springfield, who also won the last time these teams played. This was the first game for both teams, giving Springfield a 1-0 record and starting Glen Mills off at 0-1.
Next week, Springfield take on Upper Darby at 7:00 PM. As for Glen Mills, they will face of against Henderson.
