Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Carter Collins stepped things up a notch to give Wake Christian Academy the 'W'. Collins produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

Looking ahead, Collins and Wake Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against GRACE Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Eagles thanks in part to Collins: he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
