Avon will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mt. Vernon at 7:30 p.m. Mt. Vernon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Avon is ranked 17th). Danville and North Montgomery will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. North Montgomery is on a three-game streak of home wins, Danville a nine-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
