Franklin dropped down to 13-7 on Monday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 9-2 to the Ravenwood Raptors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Admirals of the 6-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

As for Ravenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games.

For Ravenwood's part, the team relied heavily on Jonah Saken, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Saken has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Lauer, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

While Franklin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
