Cross Creek had a senior duo take command as Tahjae Hawes scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and six assists and Micheala Bogans scored 21 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. The game was Hawes' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Alaya Henry was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds.
Cross Creek's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Harlem, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Cross Creek will head out on the road to face off against Academy of Richmond County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Academy of Richmond County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 269th, while Cross Creek is ranked 78th). As for Harlem, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hephzibah at 6:00 p.m.
