The Green Canyon Wolves typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday the Ridgeline Riverhawks proved too difficult a challenge. They took down the Wolves 59-45. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ridgeline also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Jagger Francom, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Cox, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Ridgeline's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Green Canyon, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgeline will challenge Bear River at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Bear River's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight matchups. As for Green Canyon, they will head out on the road to challenge Mountain Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Kaden Hess and Jared Anderson.
