The Lanham Christian Lions 's's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Einstein Titans at 5:00 p.m. on December 27th. Lanham Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Einstein will be coming in after a defeat.
On Tuesday, Lanham Christian didn't have too much trouble with Northwest on the road as they won 65-49. Given Lanham Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Northwest is ranked 138th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lanham Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Diego Joy led the charge by scoring 17 points. The contest was Joy's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Naz Joy was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Meanwhile, Einstein came up short against Bethesda-Chevy Chase on Thursday and fell 48-38.
Lanham Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Einstein, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
