It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Cypress Creek Bears ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They skirted past West Orange 50-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Cypress Creek has posted yet this season.
Cypress Creek found their leader in underclassman Kason Beezer, who scored 15 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacopo Neri, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
The win (which was Cypress Creek's third in a row) raised their record to 7-10. As for West Orange, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
Cypress Creek will be playing at home against Celebration at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Celebration is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for West Orange, they will head out on the road to challenge Orlando Christian Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
