Julian Valentine was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Devan Brown, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Alief Hastings lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Wembo Fernandes, who scored ten points. Amari Wilkerson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Pearland and bumps their season record up to 16-11. As for Alief Hastings, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pearland will take on the Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Shadow Creek will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak. As for Alief Hastings, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Dawson is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
