Benton came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Jena Giants get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 23 games by six runs or more this season.

Benton pushed their record up to 30-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Jena, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-10.

Looking ahead, Benton will face off against Natchitoches Central at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
