The Lexington Yellowjackets won the last time they faced the West Davidson Dragons, and things went their way on Friday too. Lexington blew past West Davidson 68-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lexington.
Lexington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andre Gyabaah, who scored 21 points. Gyabaah continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Holmes, who scored 15 points.
Lexington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for West Davidson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Lexington will be playing in front of their home fans against Salisbury at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Salisbury has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,121 points over their last 15 matchups. West Davidson will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against North Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th.
