The Plano West Wolves''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 41-28 to Hebron. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Plano West in their matchups with Hebron: they've now lost six in a row.
Hebron can attribute much of their success to Patrick Crayton Jr, who rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Another player making a difference was Ayson McCray Jones, who rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Plano West's defeat was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. As for Hebron, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Plano West will head out on the road to face off against Flower Mound at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Flower Mound presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Plano West in Texas (Flower Mound is ranked 171st, while Plano West is ranked 500th). As for Hebron, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lewisville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lewisville is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
