Leah Joseph was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up nine earned (and three unearned) runs off 15 hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was even better at the plate, getting on base in all six of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (four).
In other batting news, Zariah Harvey was a standout: she scored five runs while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Emmalyn Gensch, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-6.
