After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Scotland, Union Pines was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Richmond Raiders as they made off with a 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won six contests by ten runs or more so far this season.
Allie Bauer made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
