It was another big night for Evan Brown, who scored 30 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Thomas Farrell was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Meanwhile, Walter Johnson's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight defeat. They fell just short of Wootton by a score of 52-50.
Whitman's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.5 points per game. As for Walter Johnson, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
Whitman beat Walter Johnson 85-76 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Whitman since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
