It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Harvest Prep Warriors ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-57 win over Dublin Jerome. The win was nothing new for Harvest Prep as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Harvest Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adonus Abrams, who scored 17 points along with six steals. Abrams is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ephraim Campbell, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Harvest Prep's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. As for Dublin Jerome, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harvest Prep will take on the Bishops at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bishop Rosecrans knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully the Warriors like a good challenge. As for Dublin Jerome, they will be playing at home against the Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Olentangy Berlin has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
