The Zephyrhills Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against East Ridge as Zephyrhills made off with a 79-54 victory. Given Zephyrhills' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 307th, while East Ridge is ranked 640th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, East Ridge still got an impressive performance from Jordan Corman, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and seven assists. Corman has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Nathaniel Waldon, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Zephyrhills now has a winning record of 11-10. As for East Ridge, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-21.
Zephyrhills will be playing at home against Lakeland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Ridge on the road again on Monday and play against Belleview at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th. Belleview is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
