Pomeroy is 9-1 against St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Pomeroy Pirates will be home for the holidays to greet  St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse at 7:30  p.m. Pomeroy will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
 On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Pomeroy beat Garfield-Palouse 45-39.
 Pomeroy's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Trace Roberts, who  scored 14 points along with eight  rebounds. The  match was  Roberts' fourth in a row with at least ten points.  Oliver Severs was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 11 points and ten  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse suffered a  rough 68-45 defeat at the hands of Wilbur-Creston-Keller  on Saturday.
 Pomeroy's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
 Pomeroy strolled past St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse when the teams last played  back in January by a score of  67-53. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse's  Tanner Fleming, who  scored 28 points. Now that he won't be playing  on Tuesday, will it be that much easier for Pomeroy to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
