On Wednesday, Norwell earned a 47-40 victory over Triton Central.
Despite the defeat, Triton Central saw an underclassman step up: Eli Sego scored 15 points. The game was Sego's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Silas Blair, who scored 11 points.
Norwell's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Triton Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.
Norwell is on the road again on Saturday and play against Adams Central at 7:30 p.m. on December 30th. As for Triton Central, they will face off against Waldron at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
