The Redfield Pheasants can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 31-30 win over Hitchcock-Tulare. The victory was just what Redfield needed coming off of a 66-33 loss in their prior contest.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Katelyn Schroeder, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Cambree Hoekman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Redfield's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Hitchcock-Tulare, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redfield will take on Clark/Willow Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Clark/Willow Lake is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Hitchcock-Tulare, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sully Buttes at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sully Buttes has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
