University hadn't done well against Eaton recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Reds. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on four straight.

Will Korby made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Isaac Dellinger, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kaden Turk, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run.

University kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive games.

University's record is now 12-3. As for Eaton, their defeat ended a 22-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. University is set to take on their familiar foe Sterling at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Eaton will face off against rival Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
