Meanwhile, Elkhart Christian Academy got the win against South Bend Career Academy on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Trailblazers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Elkhart Christian Academy was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-7, 25-11.
Fort Wayne Canterbury better keep an eye on Kiara Trovatore. She was instrumental in Elkhart Christian Academy's win, getting five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave Trovatore a new career-high. Myla Hanlon also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Elkhart Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 22 aces. They are 2-1 when they serve at least ten aces.
