Despite the loss, Winston County saw an underclassman step up: Lynleigh Cobb scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That was a full 45.8% of Winston County's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Sulligent's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Winston County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.
Sulligent will head out on the road to face off against South Lamar at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winston County, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Red Bay at 6:00 p.m.
