Fulshear hasn't had much luck against Foster recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Chargers will head out to face off against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
If Fulshear beats Foster with 17 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Chargers blew past Alief Elsik 17-1 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won three games in a row.

Shelbi Ryder was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs.
In other batting news, Ava Galaviz was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season. Riley Shipp was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
Fulshear was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in 12 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Foster won against Alief Taylor on Tuesday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Falcons didn't even let Alief Hastings on the board, marking the Falcons' second-straight 17-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Julia Kaspar looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Foster let Sienna Shotts and Emerson Lechler run wild. Shotts went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs, while Lechler fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessica Reyes, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-1.
Foster pushed their record up to 18-6-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Fulshear, their record is now 16-6.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Fulshear has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .489. However, it's not like Foster struggles in that department as they've averaged .501. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
