On Monday, the Eastern Ramblers faced the Coolidge Colts in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Eastern ended up on the wrong side of a tough 86-62 walloping at the hands of Coolidge. Eastern's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Even though they lost, Eastern were working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coolidge only racked up 19 assists.

Eastern will stay at home for another game and welcome Jackson-Reed at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in District of Columbia (Jackson-Reed is ranked second, while Eastern is ranked ninth). Coolidge's road trip will continue as they head out to face Dunbar at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. Dunbar is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56 points per game.
