School Without Walls won the last time they faced McKinley Tech and things went their way on Friday too. The Penguins blew past the Trainers 11-1. Considering the Penguins have won five matchups by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Theo Weller, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nolan Smith, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

School Without Walls pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for McKinley Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, School Without Walls will venture away from home to square off against Sidwell Friends at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games the Quakers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for McKinley Tech, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Roosevelt at 4:00 p.m.
