The Fort LeBoeuf Bison will head out on the road to  face off against  the Northwestern Wildcats at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Fort LeBoeuf will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
 Fort LeBoeuf can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Mercyhurst Prep  a   15-0 shutout.
  Kiernan Skelton made a splash no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Skelton has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Skelton was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Ryan Shields was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Mya Stolz was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Northwestern came into Thursday's   game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by  a  13-0 margin over Union City on Thursday. Northwestern's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Fort LeBoeuf pushed their record up to 7-3 with that  victory, which was their 11th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Northwestern, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-3.
 Fort LeBoeuf took their  victory against Northwestern  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  14-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fort LeBoeuf since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
