 Western Guilford's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-0. As for Southern Guilford,  the  win also got them back to even at 1-1.
 Everything came up roses for Western Guilford against Southern Guilford in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023 as the  squad secured  a  35-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Western Guilford since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
